I have no idea why that would happen tbh, you seem to have all the necessary permissions, no bans or anything like that (as far as I can tell). I'll see with another donator (when there's one around) if it's related to the rank, which it shouldn't. If you have any idea why that could happen (is there a reason why admins could've blocked you from using polls?), tell me and I'll take a closer look, but as far as I can tell, everything should be set up right.

Being that the server is survival focused, I believe the name could possibly point to that.  If I come up with anything I will edit! Probably won't though cause I suck. :D

So...
We need more players, don't we? I mean, the server is pretty much always either empty or with just a handful of players.
Advertising sounds good on paper, but in practice, it really doesn't do much when there are hundred of other servers also advertising.
We need to stand out more, and that's where YOU come in.

First of all, we could use a new name, really.
"Live To Craft". Does this sound attractive?
Anyway, there's a poll for you to give an answer.
Feel free to reply with a better name, and I'll add it to the poll (if I can).

Then, we could probably use a better banner.

It kinda works, but it could definitly be much better, like all animated and fancy and whatever.
I'm no designer, yall can probably tell, but if YOU are, I'll be more than happy to take suggestions for better banners!

Also, how should we describe ourselves?
We're a pretty old server with a nice community, playing survival together with a bunch of fun plugins, sure, but that doesn't really sound all that appealing.
Like I said, we need to stand out! :P
Got ideas for things to add, or for ways to describe the server? I'm interested to hear them.
Just... I'm not gonna turn the server into a minigame server. We're survival and we shall stay this way.
A few minigames on the side is nice, but it shouldn't be the main focus.

Thanks for your input. I'm hoping to get a good player feedback before I post too many ads out there ;)

Basic Rules:
  • No greifing!
  • No insulting other players! (this includes but is not limited to: stereotypes, racism, sexism, harsh/cruel words)
  • Respect terrain boundaries!
  • Respect the build theme! More on this below.

Building Information:
The build theme is: Modern.
If your build does not match the theme, it may be removed by the town officials. You will receive a notice before this happens, however. Your build will be destroyed and all items contained within the build (physical and within chests) become the property of the town. They will be placed in the Public Storage building for a limited time for you to claim before they will be made inaccessible to you.

Plots:
!!Warning!! Legal terms ahead!
IndyTown uses the AreaShop plugin. This means that you may purchase a plot and become a limited owner. This means that Town Officials still withhold the right and ability to edit your plot. They must, however, have a good reason. If you do not agree with a Town Official modifying your plot, you may request an investigation below. If they were unjust in their actions and caused any damage or harm, you will receive compensation.
Town Officials still withhold the right to revoke your limited ownership with due process.
You may at any time sell you plot to other players or receive a full refund by surrendering your ownership.

Rail Road
The railroad is a brand new feature to IndyTown that currently connects IndyTown to Wintervale.
Future destinations include Altois' place, MechaniCow's Castle, and Gregoria.

News and Updates
- Coming Soon: New open-air shops in the park! Price will be $500 a month. - Plans for a subway are in the works! - A new PvP Arena is in the planning stages! I'm thinking a nice warehouse battle would be nice! - A new park is popping up in the residential section! head out and enjoy! - The Christmas season is long gone but the decorations are still up! Let's take them down! Talk to Indy about being hired (yes you'll get paid) to remove the decorations in the park.

Dear tmpcraft.

Over the course of time you have stirred up a hornets nest.
A series of mutes warnings and the occasional temp-ban.

Your "Apology" Is declined.
No one should of been blamed the way that you blamed me.
No one should of been blamed in the first place.
No one should receive a email at 3 in the morning from a player abusing you for no reason.
Publicly name calling a staff member is unacceptable.

Grefing, Stealing, Name calling, Spam, Abuse.
Is unacceptable.

But..

I understand that you may or may not of had a bad week.
I understand that you are trying to mature. I too have been in that situation. My name pops up in the ban Appeals too.
I understand that you are trying to do good.

Out of the kindness of my heart.
I'm giving you your last and final warning.
This warning comes with some restrictions though.
Due to the recent events the first 2 weeks of play time will find you muted.
Any thing that's jail worthy etc, Becomes ban worthy.

Slip ups of any-kind.. and you will find me becoming a magician and making you disappear.

i apologizes for blaming appa for my last freak out, had a bad week and really should not have reacted like a toddler :(, I'm quite sorry for my actions and will work on them as i am going to try to be more adult. Appa i am sorry for blaming you for the actions that took place and have sent you a personal message apoligizing for it. i hope i can be unbanned but if i can not i appreciate the time i spent with all of you and i hope you have a wonderful time.

Hello guys, most of you won't remember me and most don't even know me but still. For those who do remember me, I would like to thank you for helping and playing with me. I will always remember this server and it's community (especially) David. Sadly though I have to leave you. For minecraft the way it was before got demolished by the new updates. Thank you and farewell, friends.
