Yes, even though these plugins can seem useful, you'll always get a platoon of kiddys having a fit, like some recent examples of people I will not mention.
Sorry to bring a semi-dead topic to life, but if we do use a plugin like this, it would be good if you could only use it if a admin/mod is on... But you woulden't need it then.. So.. I dunno...
Maybe on trusted will be able to vote? But anyone can be trusted? However, if only donators or higher can vote, some people may accuse that of getting money out of people, which would not be the case.
I'm just stating all the possible situations and the risk of it being heavily-misused is high, you ALWAYS get idiots that just join and troll, that's kiddys for ya.
I think BCs report system is fine as it is, we can report kiddys if we wish.

When I started talking about stupid females that use sexual appeal to screw over people they have a grudge against, then someone bring up Hailey stating that she is annoying, etc.

More like a annoying child on the server who demands people listen to her in chat But she never reads chat so she ends up just spamming chat with horrid grammar and bad spelling XD

Anyway, if you'd like to know, I guess I should state it.
The first time I ever played MC, I joined a server, ya-da-da-da, met a group and asked if I could take refuge in their home, one of them said "u betr not grief us" (I think), while the other two were... Apparently.. Doing it in MC, a bit weird, I understand. The group was made up of an adult and two teens, two males and one female, the girl was a complete b*t*h, going around saying "Ohh, i'm a girl, hey.. <3" to everyone, of course I was 10, so I wasn't attracted, unlike majority of the sexually attracted males.
ANYWAY, after awhile, of me harvesting resources, an admin got on and the girl immediately snapped and said "TIMA IS SEXIST AND A PEDO!", I think because I didn't respond to her sexual calling, a bit stupid, so the admin pulled me up and the two 'boyfriends' of the girl supported her statement, the admin said "3 witnesses and only you are saying otherwise", I said "But, but... They were my friends, they're lieing, can't you check the chat?", then the girl said "Noo... Comeon, john, you can kick him.. <3", I then got banned -_-
I never knew that kind of "behavior" would be exibited on MC, it's a kiddys game, of course... Since I was 10, I was really confused, as you would think xD

Look, the girls of BeardedCraft.. We've had our moments... But I can tell you, most ppl think that girls are terrible at minecraft, and are total noobs. While this may be true 4 some of us *cough Haileyrae101 cough, I can tell you first hand that Id showed no mercy when I was yelling in chat. To answer your question time, she is basically a girl who thinks she's better than all of us, and she'll throw a tantrum if you make her mad. Idk though, she seems to be getting better. Like today, when I told her no, she couldn't have the biggest house in my town and the house on the hill.......

Well Tim, Im gonna take a minute to thank ya from me n the rest of the staff. We try. I believe the youngest of our staff is 15, but on average its in its early 20s. I think thats our secret. If ya watch for the heads above the kiddies youll find a really good buncha ppl to play with, and yes we all have our immature moments, but we have respect for each other and the members of BC.........
It's been wonderful meeting you and the other admins and mods, Rabid, hopefully, when I get more free-time, I can come on more.
I'm actually quite a new member, I used to play MC A LOT, but over the time, I got bored... Because of all the crappy admins and the troll griefers.
I was watching Yogscast when I saw a comment about BC where I thought "Wow, public advertising on the Yogscast channel, another server full of advertising spammers, but I havn't played MC for awhile, why not? It'll be fun seeing the server, it's probably full of kids, though.", at first I assumed the worst, since my experience with Minecraft has been VERY bad, I thought it would be the same, full of kids, spammers and corrupt admins. When I joined, I met a few individuals and I found out that griefing was not allowed, this made me feel that the server would be a little bit better, but you can't get completely rid of griefing, you can outlaw it, but there are always trolls. So at first, I was at spawn, read everything, I mean EVERYTHING and a individual.. I think his/her name was zombie.. Something, something with zombie, he showed me Mall2 and gave me $1500 to get started, I then went to the horrible shops and bought the really overpriced stuff.
After that I went to the wild, but I knew i'd built a wonderful house and then get griefed, so I asked if anyone actually set up a town, a individual named Brandan stated he owned one, so I got a plot in the floating town and.. Filled in the plot with dirt, this took awhile and I got help along the way from different people, I actually had a mini-party with a few people and made friends with Ajz, a mod... Or admin. After all that, I thought it was really fun, thhe most fun i'd had on a server... However, I thought I just got lucky and it would all go to crap the day after, like it normally does.
The next day, I got on, it was great, nothing went wrong and I made my acquaintance with the owner, Nick, AKA Nxck and Rabrid, for me this is VERY rare, usually the admins, are emotionless kickers that kick you upon making a inch of discussion with them, they think you're hiding something.. Like hacking, oooohhhh -_-
However, these admins (and mods), along with Ajz, wern't that bad, they seemed friendly and not masters of random speculation.
At the moment, I still havn't built my house on my plot, i'm still getting supplies, because it will be MAGNIFICENT! It must be.
We will be looking into a specific plug-in that allows players to take action on a player if a certain vote to is reached.
Umm, not to be a burden, but these plugins are often mis-used, getting a person muted for stupid reasons, like he is 'not cool', or is 'annoying' when the individual wasn't calling a problem.
When you have young children on the server, which MC is full of, you'll get idiots, not all kiddies are idiots, of course, but majority are.
I'll provide a personal example of a 'vote-mute' plugin that was misused: Note: There was more chit-chatter, but most of the other 'kiddies' messages were left out due to over-using caps, excessive swearing, or not needing to be implemented. This was from a year ago, on a server, I had a screenshot of the messages on my old PC that is now broken, however I have a folder of MC incidents I wrote in word, I keep these to provide evidence to back-up certain statements I make... A year ago I had a lot of free time
So, as you can see, this isn't such a good idea when the admins/mods get off, but if they're on, they can properly supervise the situation. Just providing my opinion of the plugin.

Yes, the server seems to have been down for awhile, it was up like 7 hours ago, but the server went down for maintenance, I assume, but about 10 minutes later, the server responded to my client, but I couldn't connect.
Quite a shame, hopefully it'll be fixed by the morning.
From what i've seen of the server so far, it's pretty good, I understand you had a kiddie assault (Idiots) on the server in feb, but lately, people are making communities. making shopping areas and all that jazz without issue, of course they're protected, I have not seen any stupid incidents like "He/she stole from me even though it was protected... HACKER!".
I didn't even need to protect my chests because no one even opened 'em. But I locked 'em anyway, you can't be too careful!
The community also seems well mannered and mature, however we've got lots of phone typers, people that do not use proper grammar/spelling and commonly use terms such as "YOLO, L557 and SWAG", that's just a few, i'm not a grammar nazi, I just dislike people that expect you to reply to their statements/questions even though they're unreadable. Though, that's on EVERY server, you can't really change that... Well, at least HL2 RP is different
So bravo, the general staff of 'BeardedCraft' are very good at keeping orders and keeping out the raiders and griefers that made me stop playing MC for a LONG time, hey, I used to play in the early patches of Beta, but I kept getting griefed which caused me to leave/kicked by admin for reporting that and getting ignored, I did not spam my complaint, I just wanted an answer, so I politely reminded them and I got a "STOP ABUSING THE ADMIN, NOOB" and got perma-ban... Ahhh, how I hate kiddy admins...
Woulden't you be able to disable the timer globally and be able to zone out PvP zones, I understand if the plugin is not like that, but I have seen numerous Bukkit plugins that allow that ability, however it isn't that bad, unless you accidentally fall off a floating town a lot... Ahem, me
Every two seconds when i'm gathering supplies and visiting my town, I usually fall off and have to wait till I hit the water and wait 3 seconds, which happens A LOT, but otherwise it isn't that much of a issue.
