There's a plug-in available called MagicBookshelf where players can store their XP into bookshelves for safe-keeping until they're ready to enchant an item.  It's just a nice way to be able to keep all the xp points a player has earned over time instead of losing it every time they die.  A bit less frustrating for many people, I think!  LOL

The only issue, I believe, is that the latest version of the plug-in was for 1.2.5.  I don't know if it would still be compatible with the latest version of MC.
