Okay.... let me explain resource packs to everyone.
The regular 16x16 default you can see the pixels.
Although 32x32 may be twice as higher resolution as 16x16, 4 pixels in the 32x32 equals the size of 1 pixel in 16x16
wouldnt it be half? 256 + 256 = 512
Technically, it would. But, as stated before, very few people with good eyes (like myself) can see that 4 pixels in 512x512 is equivalent to 1 pixel of 256x256
Poke, 256x is 1/4th of 512x.... you can only tell the difference if your face is close to them, though.
Mort, you're a smart kid to know texture packs that way. I salute you.
